Castleberry Hill Chili Cookoff - November 13th! Enter Now 6 Trophies up for Grabs!!!

The annual Chili Cookoff, which raises funds for Atlanta Fire Dept #1 in Castleberry Hill will be held on Elliott Street, Saturday, November 13th from 2-5pm. Judging will be handled by the firemen and start at 3pm. More information coming soon, in the meantime click here to download an entry form and submit to social@castleberryhill.org. The entry form has requirements and additional information. Please contact us if you would like to sponsor the event or donate to the raffle. A big thanks to Elliott Street Pub for sponsoring and assisting with the event!

Inman Park Restaurant Week, Sept. 20-26th

Atlanta, GA--  September is officially Hunger Action Month, and this year's Fall Inman Park Restaurant Week will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) and its Atlanta Table Project.  13 Restaurants will be offering 3 course meals ranging in price of $15, $25, and $35.

In lieu of the ACFB's regular fundraiser, each of the 13 participating restaurants will be offering raffle tickets for $1.00 that will go towards charity. 

The raffle prize will be a party for the winner and 30 of their friends at Shaun's Restaurant.  Chefs from each of the restaurants participating will prepare hors d'oevres and provide beer and wine for the private party.

Restaurants at $15 include: Fritti, Pure Taqueria, The Albert, North Highland Pub

$25: Wisteria, Parish Food and Goods, Fritti, Park's Edge, Rathbun's, Sauced, Shaun's, Sotto Sotto

$35: Kevin Rathbun Steak

Atlanta Public Schools Neighborhood Celebration Set for Oct. 2nd

Atlanta, GA-- The second APS Neighborhood Celebration is scheduled for 1 – 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at Maynard Holbrook Jackson High School.

The event, which is part pep rally and open house, celebrates and showcases APS neighborhood schools through displays and performances created by school staff and students from southeast Atlanta.

Atlanta Fire Stations 16 and 19 Host the 6th Annual FireED Up! Run/Walk for Higher Education

Atlanta, GA--  Atlanta Fire Rescue Department Fire Stations 16 and 19 are hosting the annual 5k race to help give scholarships to graduating seniors of Washington and Grady High Schools.

Through hosting the Christmas party at Fire Station 16, and the FirEd Up! 5K Race at Fire Station 19 many children have benefited from what have become anticipated annual events for the department.
