Atlanta, GA--  (submitted by the Atlanta Institute of Architects)  At the next AIA Principals Roundtable, Brian Leary, President and CEO of Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., will give a presentation on the current status of the overall Atlanta BeltLine program, progress to date, challenges that lie ahead and what the program means to future development in the Atlanta area

The breakfast meeting will take place from 7:30-9:15 am, at the Ansley Golf Club.

The Atlanta BeltLine is a $2.8 billion redevelopment project that will shape the way Atlanta grows throughout the next several decades.  The project provides a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting 45 neighborhoods directly to each other and to MARTA's rail network.  The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment projects currently underway in the United States.
